-When did the UN start to take notice of the crisis in Sudan and when did they set up the refugee camps?

 

-Who supplied the SPLA and how did they recruit? Where were their headquarters?

 

-Did the US offer aid directly and if so what aid?

 

-What are the feelings of the Sudanese about the US and their involvement?

 

-How do the northern Sudanese justify the violent attacks on the southern Sudanese?

 

-From what I have read it seems that the Norwegians were one of the major forces who had helped supply the SPLA with arms. They were very involved in supply and support of the SPLA and SPLM.  The US, UN, Italy has also been endorsing the peace between the Sudanese factions. The UN helped develop the African Union (AU) in order to oversee the ceasefire in Darfur. They also established schools and the refugee camps we read about in Ethiopia and Kenya. The ICC helped to put away Omar Hassan al-Bashir for his war crimes against the Darfur. Despite this apparent global participation in Sudan, The Sudanese are still left with an insufficent amount of resources to develop their country and establish true order.
